Morocco Reports Lowest Daily COVID-19 Cases Since March, Only 7 New Infections

The Ministry of Health announced, Wednesday, May 27 at 10 a.m., the recording of 7 new positive cases of covid-19. Morocco has a total of 7,584 cases.
This is the lowest infection rate recorded by the kingdom since March 17. The number of recovered cases stands at 4,969, with 88 new remissions, i.e. a rate of 65.82%. As for the number of deaths, it stands at 202, i.e. a rate of 2.66%.
5 of the 7 new confirmed cases today were recorded in the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma region, the Ministry of Health said on its covid-19 dedicated website. It now has 1,045 confirmed cases. Marrakech-Safi (1,328) and Souss-Massa (88) each have one case.
The situation remains unchanged in the other regions: Casablanca-Settat (2,495), Fès-Meknès (995), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (696), Drâa-Tafilalet (586), Oriental (186), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (113), Guelmim-Oued Noun (43), Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab (5) and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (4).
Furthermore, the total number of cases excluded after testing negative is 155,791 against 2,413 cases under treatment.
