Morocco Reports 48 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Rises to 6,957

Some 48 Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the epidemic in March to 6,957 in Morocco.
13 people died in the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, with 12 in Casablanca and 1 in Mediouna. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 10 deaths, including 7 in Salé, 1 in Rabat, 1 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Khémisset.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima announced 7 deaths, including 3 in Tanger-Assilah, 2 in Al Hoceima and 2 in Chefchaouen. Marrakech-Safi has 5 deaths, with 4 in Marrakech and 1 in Al Haouz.
Fès-Meknès reported 4 deaths, including 2 in Fès and 2 in Meknès. Then come the Oriental and Guelmin-Oued Noun, each recording 3 deaths, including 2 in Guelmin, 1 in Sidi Ifni, 1 in Nador, 1 in Berkane and 1 in Taourit. Souss-Massa, Darâa-Tafilalet and Beni Mellal-Khénifra each recorded 1 death in Tiznit, Errachidia and Khouribga respectively.
