Morocco Reports 40 New COVID-19 Deaths, Casablanca Hit Hardest

The Ministry of Health reported the death of some 40 Covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 7,170 since the start of the epidemic in Morocco last March.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, there are 13 deaths, including 12 in Casablanca and 1 in Settat. The coronavirus caused 7 deaths, including 3 in Fez, 2 in El Hajeb, 1 in Meknes and 1 in Taounate.
In the Marrakech-Safi region, there are 6 deaths with 4 in Marrakech, 1 in Rehamna and 1 in Youssoufia. The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region reports 5 deaths with 4 in Salé and 1 in Sidi Kacem. In Beni-Mellal-Khénifra, 3 people died from the Coronavirus.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, Souss-Massa and the Oriental each recorded 2 deaths, including 1 in Tanger-Assilah, 1 in Tétouan, 2 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul, 1 in Oujda-Angad and 1 in Berkane.
