Morocco Reports 33 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Rise to 7,485

Morocco recorded 33 deaths due to the coronavirus, the Ministry of Health announced. The number of people who have died from Covid-19 in the Kingdom now stands at 7,485, with a fatality rate of 1.7%.
The coronavirus caused 11 deaths in Casablanca-Settat, including 8 in Casablanca, 1 in Nouaceur and 2 in Settat. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and Fès-Meknès each recorded 5 deaths, including 1 in Kénitra, 1 in Skhirate-Témara, 1 in Rabat, 1 in Sidi Slimane, 1 in Sidi Kacem, 1 in Fès, 1 in Sefrou, 1 in Meknès, 1 in Ifrane and 1 in El Hajeb.
In the Marrakech-Safi region, there were 4 deaths, with 3 in Marrakech and 1 in Chichoua. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima announced 3 deaths, including 1 in M’Diq-Fnideq, 1 in Chefchaouen and 1 in Ouezzane. Then come Béni Mellal-Khénifra and Darâa-Tafilalet, each with 2 deaths, with 2 in Béni Mellal, 1 in Midelt and 1 in Zagora. In the Souss-Massa region, there was 1 death in Agadir-Ida –Ou-Tanane.
