Morocco Reports 61 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Total Toll Reaches 6,245

Morocco recorded 61 deaths due to the coronavirus, the Ministry of Health announced. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,245 people have succumbed to Covid-19 in the Kingdom.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, there are 19 deaths, including 17 in Casablanca, 1 in Berrechid and 1 in Mediouna. It is followed by Souss-Massa, which has 15 deaths with 5 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane against 3 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul, 3 in Taroudant, 3 in Chtouka-Ait Baha and 1 in Tiznit.
In Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, there are 9 deaths, including 3 in Rabat, 3 in Kenitra, 1 in Salé and 1 in Skhirate-Témara. In the Oriental region, 5 people died from Covid-19 with 2 deaths in Oujda-Angad against 1 in Nador, 1 in Guercif and 1 in Berkane.
Covid-19 killed 4 people in Marrakech-Safi, including 2 in Marrakech, 1 in Youssoufia and 1 in Rehamna. In the Fès-Meknès region, there are 3 deaths with 2 in Fès and 1 in Meknès. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Laâyoune-Sakia-El Hamra each record 2 deaths. Si-Tanger-Assilah and Ouezanne each report 1 death, Es-Semara has 2 deaths.
As for Beni Mellal-Khénifra and Daraâ-Tafilalet, they each report 1 death in Azilal and Tinghir.
