Morocco Reports 61 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Casablanca Hardest Hit

Morocco has recorded 61 deaths due to coronavirus. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 3,506 people have succumbed to Covid-19 in the Kingdom.
Casablanca-Settat is still at the top of the deaths with 16 cases, including 15 recorded in Casablanca and 1 death in El Jadida. The Oriental region has 10 deaths. 5 people succumbed to the coronavirus in Nador, 3 in Berkane, 1 in Oujda-Angad and 1 in Jerada. It is followed by Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima with 8 deaths, including 3 in Tétouan, 2 in Tanger-Assilah, 2 in Al Hoceima and 1 in Larache.
Marrakech-Safi and Souss-Massa each report 6 deaths. While Marrakech and Al Houaz each have 3 deaths in the Marrakech-Safi region, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and Taroudannt have 2 deaths against 1 death in Inezgane-Ait Melloul and Chtouka-Ait Baha.
The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region saw the death of 5 people, including 2 in Salé and Skhirate-Témara. Rabat reports 1 death. Beni Mellal-Khénifra has 4, including 1 in Khouribga, 1 in Béni-Mellal, 1 in Fquih Ben Salah and 1 in Khénifra. 3 people died in Fès-Meknès. While Meknès has 2 deaths, Boulemane has 1 death.
Darâa–Tafilalet has 2 deaths, including 1 death in Errachidia and 1 death in Ouarzazate. As for Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, it reports 1 death in Laâyoune.
