Morocco Reports 52 New COVID-19 Cases, Casablanca Region Hardest Hit

52 new infections were recorded today in Morocco, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 7,185. Unfortunately, once again the Casablanca region is at the top of the new infections with 34 cases since last night.
The economic capital and its region now have 2,224 infected people. It is followed by Marrakech with 10 new infections for a total of 1,306. If this continues, it will be very difficult for the people of Casablanca to hope for a lifting of the lockdown on June 10.
Since yesterday, Morocco has recorded two new deaths for a total of 196 since the first case was reported in March. 114 new recoveries are also noted. The number of recoveries is now 4,212, for a rate of 58.62%.
