Morocco Reports 654 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases, 39 Deaths

Morocco recorded 12 more confirmed cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive cases to 654.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of people declared cured is 29, while the number of deaths due to coronavirus is now 39.
As for the total number of cases excluded after negative analysis results carried out in the laboratory, it stands at 2,691.
Regarding the new distribution map, the 654 positive cases were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (181), Marrakech-Safi (115), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (113), Fès-Meknès (110), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (45), the Oriental (29), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (21), Daraa-Tafilalet (20), Souss-Massa (17), and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
Also, the ministry has called on citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
