Morocco Reports 534 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Reaches 13,822

The number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Morocco stood at 13,822, after 534 additional cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to data released on the "covidmaroc.ma" portal.
Here are the regions affected by these new infections:
• Casablanca-Settat: +59
• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: +55
• Marrakech Safi: +266
• Rabat Salé Kenitra: +8
• Fès Meknès: +93
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +34
• Oriental: +7
• Beni Mellal-Khénifra: +8
• Souss-Massa: +1
• Guelmim Oued Noun: +3
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +2
Here are the other figures to remember:
• 2 deaths were recorded. Total at 232. Fatality rate at 1.68%.
• 15,421 tests. Total at 734,627.
• 363 people under treatment. Total at 4,261.
• 169 new recoveries. Total at 9,329.
As usual, the ministry calls on citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
