Morocco Reports 1,672 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Surpasses 65,000

The number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Morocco now stands at 65,453, after 1,672 additional cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to data published on the "covidmaroc.ma" portal.

• 32 deaths since last night. Total at 1,216. Fatality rate at 1.9%
• 20,752 tests. Total at 1,913,387
• 1,435 new recoveries. Total at 50,357.
• 13,880 patients under treatment.
• 202 people in serious condition, including 46 on artificial respirators.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced the death of 43 people, the highest figure since the start of the Covid-19 epidemic in the country.
