Morocco Reports 181 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 16,726

181 coronavirus infections were recorded this Friday, July 17 in Morocco, according to the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases to 16,726 since last March.

• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: +57
• Casablanca-Settat: +22
• Marrakech Safi: +22
• Oriental: +11
• Dakhla-Oued Eddahab: +4
• Daraa-Tafilalet: +2
• Guelmim Oued Noun: +2
• Souss-Massa: +1
• Rabat Salé Kénitra: +1
Here are the other figures to remember:
• 1 death since last night. Total at 264. Fatality rate at 1.58%
• 19,508 tests. Total at 956,678.
• 2,102 patients under treatment.
• 395 new recoveries. Total at 14,360. Recovery rate at 85.85%.
The ministry calls on Moroccans to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
