Morocco Reports 1,104 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Surpasses 58,000

1,104 coronavirus infections were recorded this Friday, August 28 in Morocco, according to the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases to 58,489 since last March.

• Béni Mellal-Khénifra: +95
• Guelmim-Oued Noun: +13
• Souss-Massa: +32
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +34
Here are the other figures to remember:
• 41 deaths since last night. Total at 1,052. Fatality rate at 1.8%.
• 14,388 patients under treatment.
• 1,148 new recoveries. Total at 43,049.
• 20,881 tests. Total at 1,810,056.
• 191 people in serious condition, including 44 on artificial respiration.
Yesterday, Morocco exceeded 1,000 deaths (exactly 1,011) due to Covid-19 since the declaration of the first case on March 10.
