Morocco Reports 1,567 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Surpasses 60,000

Covid-19 has infected 1,567 more people in the last 24 hours in Morocco, according to figures released by the Ministry of Health, bringing the total since the start of the coronavirus epidemic to 60,056.

Here are the other key figures:
• 26 deaths since last night. Total at 1,078. Fatality rate at 1.8%
• 20,852 tests. Total at 1,830,908.
• 1,569 new recoveries. Total at 44,618.
• 14,360 patients under treatment.
• 198 people in serious condition, including 41 on artificial respirators.
For yesterday, the Ministry of Health reported 1,104 contaminations, 1,148 recoveries, 41 deaths and 191 patients in critical condition.
