Morocco Reports 1,245 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Surpasses 44,800

1245 coronavirus infections were recorded on Tuesday, August 18 in Morocco, according to the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases to 44,803 since last March.

• Fès-Meknès: +126
• Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma: +106

• Souss-Massa: +53
• Oriental: +21
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +20
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +13
• Guelmim-Oued Noun: +1
Here are the other figures to remember:
• 33 deaths since last night. Total at 714.
• 20,673 tests. Total at 1,603,925.
• 1,061 new recoveries. Total at 31,002.
• 13,087 patients under treatment.
• 184 people in serious condition, including 36 intubated.
Yesterday, Monday, August 17, the kingdom had recorded 1,069 new infections, 23 deaths and 597 recoveries.
