Morocco Reports 221 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 17,236

221 coronavirus infections were recorded this Sunday, July 19 in Morocco, according to the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases to 17,236 since last March.

• Fès-Meknès: +62
• Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma: +49
• Marrakech-Safi: +18
• Oriental: +5
• Rabat-Salé-Kénitra: +4
• Guelmim-Oued Noun: +3
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +3
• Drâa-Tafilalet: +1
• Souss-Massa: +1
Here are the other figures to remember:
• 4 deaths since last night. Total at 273. Fatality rate at 1.6%
• 18,591 tests. Total at 992,090.
• 2,042 patients under treatment.
• 301 new recoveries. Total at 14,921.
The ministry calls on Moroccans to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
