Morocco Reports 220 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 17,962

220 Covid-19 infections were recorded on Wednesday, July 22 in Morocco, according to the Minister of Health. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 17,962 people have been affected by the coronavirus in the Kingdom.

• Casablanca-Settat: +66
• Marrakech-Safi: +39
• Fès-Meknès: +50
• Oriental: +7
• Drâa-Tafilalet: +4
• Rabat-Salé-Kénitra: +5
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +2
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +3
Here are the other key figures:
• 5 deaths since last night. Total at 285. Fatality rate at 1.6%
• 2,041 patients under treatment.
• 33 people in serious condition.
• 247 new recoveries.
The ministry calls on Moroccans to strictly respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the measures enacted by the authorities, showing responsibility and patriotism.
