Morocco Reports 164 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 14,379

The number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Morocco now stands at 14,379, after 164 additional cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to data published on the "covidmaroc.ma" portal.

• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: +41
• Marrakech Safi: +54
• Rabat Salé Kenitra: +8
• Fès-Meknès: +30
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +10
• Daraa-tafilalet: +1
• Oriental: +1
• Beni Mellal-Khénifra: +2
• Guelmim Oued Noun: +13
Here are the other figures to remember:
• 2 deaths were recorded. Total at 237. Fatality rate at 1.65%.
• 17,885 tests. Total at 769,260.
• 3,969 people under treatment
• 448 new recoveries. Total at 10,173.
This morning, the Ministry of Health announced 114 Covid-19 infections. Health authorities have decided to quarantine the Safi region after the detection of clusters in fish factories.
