Morocco Reports 123 New COVID-19 Recoveries, Total Cases Rise to 5,661

It is once again optimism that prevails this morning with the number of cases of recovery from the new coronavirus (Covid-19). According to the figures published by the Ministry of Health, 123 people have been completely cured of the virus in Morocco.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the kingdom has recorded 2,302 cases of recovery, the health authorities specify on the covidmaroc.ma portal.
Unfortunately, this morning’s figures also bring bad news with the death of two people, bringing their number to 185 since early March.
In addition, the figures reveal the infection of 113 new people until this Friday at 10 a.m. (Moroccan time), for a total of 5,661 cases of contamination. We will have to wait until 4 p.m. for the next report from the Ministry of Health.
For a few days now, Morocco has been facing a worrying increase in the number of cases of infection, with factories, particularly in Casablanca, being the main hotspots.
