Morocco Reports 118 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 4,687

The number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Morocco has reached 4,687, after 118 additional cases, according to data published on the "covidmaroc.ma" portal.
In less than 24 hours, 152 people have been declared cured, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 1,235. As for the number of deaths, it has reached 172 cases, after the recording of a new death, the ministry specifies on the portal.
Furthermore, the number of cases excluded after negative analysis results carried out in the laboratory has reached 33,415.
Regarding the geographical distribution of confirmed cases, the Casablanca-Settat region remains the most affected with a rate of more than 25%, followed by Marrakech-Safi (22%), then Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, Fès-Meknès and Draa-Tafilelt.
As usual, the ministry calls on citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities, showing responsibility and patriotism.
