Morocco COVID-19 Cases Surpass 4,800, Death Toll Reaches 174

The toll of the epidemic continues to rise in Morocco with now more than 4,880 infections after the identification of 151 additional cases of infection until this Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
While the total number of recovered cases stands at 1,424, the death toll stands at 174, after the recording of a new death, announces the Ministry of Health.
Furthermore, the number of cases excluded after negative analysis results carried out in the laboratory reached 36,081.
Regarding the distribution of the 4,880 covid-19 cases, Casablanca-Settat totals 1,261 cases and remains the most affected region, ahead of Marrakech-Safi (1,070), Tanger Tétouan Al Hoceima (701), Fès-Meknès (614), Daraa-tafilalet (548), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (332), Oriental (175), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (83), Souss-Massa (51), Guelmim Oued Noun (39), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (4) and Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab (2).
