Morocco Reports 111 New Coronavirus Cases, Total Reaches 16,047

111 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded since last night in Morocco, the Ministry of Health just announced during its traditional morning conference. Since last March, the number of cases in the kingdom stands at 16,047.
Here are the details of the covid-19 contaminations in the different regions:
• Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima: +53
• Marrakech-Safi: +27
• Casablanca-Settat: +17
• Rabat-Salé-Kénitra: +6
• Oriental: +2
• Fès-Meknès: +1
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +1
• Guelmim-Oued Noun: +1
• Souss-Massa: +1
Here are the other figures to remember:
• One death was recorded. Total at 256. Fatality rate at 1.6%
• 8,539 tests. Total at 889,241.
• 2,388 patients under treatment.
• 469 new recoveries. Total at 13,403. Recovery rate at 83.52%.
The ministry calls on Moroccans to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
