Morocco Reports 283 New Covid-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 16,545

283 new Covid-19 infections were recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said, noting that since the beginning of March, 16,545 people have been affected in the country.
Here are the cases of coronavirus infections in each region:
• Casablanca-Settat: +52
• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: +86
• Marrakech Safi: +44
• Rabat Salé Kenitra: +10
• Fès-Meknès: +72
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +1
• Oriental: +15
• Guelmim Oued Noun: +1
• Souss-Massa: +1
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +5
Here are the other figures to remember:
• Four deaths were recorded. Total to 263. Fatality rate at 1.59%
• 19,384 tests. Total to 937,170.
• 2,317 patients under treatment (+135).
• 144 new recoveries. Total to 13,965. Recovery rate at 84.41%.
The ministry once again calls on the population to scrupulously respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the measures enacted by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
