Morocco Reports 609 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Reach 20,887

609 new Covid-19 infections were recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said, noting that since last March, 20,887 people have been affected in the country.

• Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima: +114
• Marrakech-Safi: +131
• Fez-Meknes: +98
• Rabat-Salé-Kénitra: +24
• Drâa-Tafilalet: +2
• Oriental: +5
• Béni Mellal-Khénifra: +9
• Souss-Massa: +8
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +7

Here are the other figures to remember:

• 3 deaths since last night. Total at 316. Fatality rate at 1.6%.
• 4,018 patients under treatment.
• 115 new recoveries.
• 72 people in serious condition.

The ministry once again calls on the population to scrupulously respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the measures enacted by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
