Morocco Reports 161 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 16,097

161 coronavirus infections were recorded this Tuesday, July 14 in Morocco, according to the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases to 16,097 since last March.
Here is the regional breakdown for this day:
• Casablanca-Settat: 36
• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: 75
• Marrakech Safi: 28
• Rabat Salé Kenitra: 13
• Fès-Meknès: 2
• Daraa-tafilalet: 2
• Oriental: 3
• Guelmim Oued Noun: 1
• Souss-Massa: 1
Here are the other figures to remember:
• Two deaths were recorded. Total at 257. Fatality rate at 1.6%
• 18,341 tests. Total at 899,043.
• 2,398 patients under treatment.
• 508 new recoveries. Total at 13,442. Recovery rate at 83.51%.
As at the end of each press conference, the ministry calls on Moroccans to respect the barrier gestures such as social distancing and wearing a mask.
