Morocco Reopens to International Travelers, French Tourists Lead Surge in Bookings

Many French people are eager to reach Morocco. "Our country remains the first destination sold, with 27% of bookings. But beware, it’s dropping sharply. We’re rather at 40% usually. Then it’s Europe that dominates the best places with Spain (2nd place), Italy (3rd) and Portugal (4th), the United States (5th, with 6% of the volume). "We are observing a significant increase in order taking since the beginning of the week. In this context of recovery, the most sought-after destinations are Mexico, the USA and Morocco," says Fabrice Dariot, founder and president of Bourse des Vols. According to Nicolas Henin, the gradual reduction in uncertainty, combined with a strong desire to travel, should continue to boost demand for the coming summer.
