Morocco Ranks in Top 10 Countries for COVID-19 Vaccination Success, WHO Reports

Morocco is one of the top 10 countries that have successfully met the challenge of vaccination against Covid-19. The ranking was made on Wednesday by the Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Morocco.
In terms of managing the coronavirus pandemic, Morocco has always been praised by international institutions or renowned magazines. This time, it is the WHO representation that has congratulated the Kingdom on the success of the national free vaccination campaign against Covid-19.
"Congratulations on the success of this campaign," can be read on the organization’s Twitter account. As of March 3, the number of people who have received the first dose has reached 3,745,173, while 360,689 have received the second dose of the vaccine, according to data made public by the Ministry of Health in its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation in the Kingdom.
By launching the national free vaccination campaign against Covid-19 on January 28, Morocco hopes to vaccinate 80% of the population, achieve herd immunity for a gradual return to normal.
