Morocco Pursues Rising Star Mohamed Ali-Cho for National Team

Morocco’s coach, Vahid Halihodzic, is trying to convince Mohamed-Ali Cho to join the Atlas Lions. For now, the young Angers striker has not yet decided.
With a Ivorian father and a French mother of Moroccan origin, Mohamed Ali-Cho is of interest to Morocco in more ways than one. Moroccan national coach Vahid Halihodzic and representatives of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) have traveled to Angers to meet the young striker and try to convince him to be part of the Atlas Lions.

But for now, Ali-cho would rather sign with Real, whose executives have also traveled to Angers to try to convince him to join the squad, or Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and play alongside Mbappé and Griezmann, reports Mundo Deportivo.

The Angers striker is on the radar of several European clubs such as Dortmund, Leicester, Leipzig, Milan, Atlético, Marseille, Eintracht, Betis... Last December, Saïd Chabane, the president of Angers, had declared that he was ready to sell the player for 40 million euros. Real has been negotiating his transfer for 12 years and could conclude it in the next transfer window.
Mohamed-Ali Cho made his debut in the junior clubs of West-Ham, Paris Saint-Germain and Everton before joining Angers in 2020.
