Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch presented the main axes of his program before the elected representatives of the Nation, in accordance with Article 88 of the Constitution. An apparently social program that is in line with the royal guidelines, in phase with the new development model.

Before the deputies of the two chambers, Aziz Akhannouch outlined a program based on ten commitments. From the exit from the health crisis, to the relaunch of the economy, the new team wants to stand out by restoring the confidence of Moroccans through strong actions for the social sector. He is committed to institutionalizing social justice in order to expand the middle class, promote its purchasing power and its savings capacity.

In this sense, several concrete measures are planned. The new government intends to guarantee a stable income to preserve the dignity of the elderly, grant allowances to underprivileged families as well as the implementation of a clear public policy in favor of people with disabilities. To achieve these objectives, the Head of Government promises the acceleration of the implementation of the Unified Social Registry (RSU) for more effective targeting of the people concerned by these programs.

On the economic level, Akhannouch announced strong measures to mitigate the effects of the health crisis that has slowed down the Moroccan economy. Employment will be at the center of all public policies in the economic field, the strengthening of national sovereignty for basic products and services and the protection of the national product against any unfair competition, he stressed.

Several actions are also included in this ambitious program which draws its source from the new development model, particularly in the fields of politics, tourism, economy, environment, culture and foreign relations.
