Morocco Invests 30 Million Dirhams in Air Ambulance Service for Emergency Medical Transport

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has just launched a tender for an amount of 30 million dirhams to rent planes dedicated to the rapid transport of patients.
The department of Khalid Ait Taleb plans to rent planes to provide medical transport for patients. The initiative aims to ensure rapid and effective care for medical emergencies and is part of the National Strategy for the Management of Medical Emergencies and Health Risks, reports Challenge.
The Ministry of Health will have to pay the tidy sum of 30 million dirhams (including taxes) to the company that wins this one-year aircraft rental contract. The service provider will make available aircraft dedicated to the rapid transport of patients, particularly from remote areas to reference hospitals.
