Morocco’s PM El Othmani Rejects Calls for Unity Government, Prioritizes COVID-19 Response

Faced with the criticism he is receiving from his opponents, who are clearly attached to the formation of a national unity government, Saad-Eddine El Othmani does not hide his displeasure. For the leader of the PJD, the priority is elsewhere: to effectively deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is not the time for elections and the formation of a national unity government. This is the response of the Secretary General of the PJD to certain political parties, eager to see him reshuffle the cards. There is more serious business at the moment, justifies the man for whom the priority of the moment is the management of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Beside himself, El Othmani takes over the official page of his party to address a message to his detractors. He hammers that "the PJD is busy serving the homeland, while some remain obsessed with the elections" reports the daily Assabah.
Saadeddine El Othmani does not at all recognize himself in the accusations of lack of firmness made against him by the same ones who give good grades to the State for its good management of the health crisis while refusing the benefit to the head of government as well as to the ministries and municipalities led by the PJD. Diversion in the eyes of the Islamist leader.
