Morocco to Open Reception Center for Expatriates in Tangier Region
A reception center is being created for Moroccans residing abroad (MREs). This decision was made during the ordinary session that brought together the Council of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region and the Delegate Ministry in charge of Moroccans Residing Abroad and Migration Affairs.
Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) are in the spotlight. The Moroccan government is concerned about guaranteeing them exceptional living conditions in the country. The Executive is committed to supporting them in their various projects so that they can have everything they need during their stay in the country.
This project to create a reception center aims to dedicate a space for exchanges and continuous communication with members of the Moroccan community residing abroad. Once this project is finalized, the two parties also commit to equipping the said center with the necessary equipment and to ensure the monitoring and strengthening of the human resources skills, as well as the management and periodic maintenance of the Center.
In addition, a Management Committee, composed of external services representing the various departments and public institutions, will be created to ensure the proper functioning of the Center, in accordance with an action program, adopted annually.
