Casablanca Allocates 5.5 Million Dirhams to Improve Tit Mellil Social Center

The Casablanca City Council will, in the coming days, make an annual grant of 5.5 million dirhams available to the "Dar El Kheir" Social Center in Tit Mellil.
Since Saïd Ahmidouch, Wali of Casablanca, has taken the file in hand, things seem to be taking shape for the "Dar El Kheir" Social Center in Tit Mellil.
Abdelaziz El Omari, the President of the Casablanca City Council, indeed announced, during the October session, the implementation of several important measures aimed at supporting this institution, reports TelQuel.
"The Tit Mellil Social Center has experienced a long period marked by poor management and lack of governance leading to the deterioration of its situation and that of its beneficiaries," he recalled.
According to him, efforts are being made to improve the living conditions of the Center’s beneficiaries.
Thus, the City Council intends to release 5.5 million dirhams representing the annual subsidies for the Center. In addition, the Council will add an additional subsidy of 2.5 million dirhams.
According to Abdelaziz El Omari, this measure aims to "bring the annual subsidy from various public donors to 20 million dirhams to ensure the Center has the financial resources necessary for its proper management."
To avoid disastrous management in the future, Karim Glaïbi, President of the PAM Group, suggested that a Committee be set up "to closely monitor the financial situation of the institution, as well as the social and health situation of its beneficiaries."
