Drug Baron Shootout: Moroccan Police Raid Ends in Dramatic Arrest of Cocaine Kingpin

A hard-hitting police operation in Tétouan, involving 25 officers, led to the arrest of a drug baron named Nabil D. in the province of Ouezzane.
The criminal is suspected of being involved in cases related to the possession and distribution of hard drugs. As soon as the agents surrounded his house, he opened fire on them with a shotgun, making verbal threats. Faced with this reaction from the drug baron, the police called for reinforcements from the Royal Gendarmerie of Ouezzane.
The perimeter of the house was secured and an intervention plan was put in place, leading to the arrest of the baron and three other people, including two women, as well as the seizure of the shotgun used by the defendant. The search of the baron’s parents’ home also led to the seizure of three light vehicles and four packages containing a white powder suspected to be cocaine. The suspect’s father, brother, and sister were apprehended.
The accused is a dangerous criminal. He was the subject of two arrest warrants issued by the Judicial Center of the Gendarmerie of Ouezzane, and was also wanted by the police and gendarmerie services in various cities.
