The latter died on the spot. Sources close to the investigation told Assabah that the incident occurred after a meeting attended by the victim, the baron, a 20-year-old woman from Bir Jdid, and three other individuals.

After the shot that hit the victim in the face, the other people present left the scene. Alerted, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of the territorial center of Bir Jdid, assisted by intelligence units, went to the scene. The suspect was arrested and taken to the headquarters of the Regional Gendarmerie where he was interrogated under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, the daily newspaper reports.
