Morocco Oil Exploration Yields Promising Gas Reserves in Northeast

Shallow gas reserves within the MOU-3 well in Guercif (northeast Morocco) have been discovered by the oil and gas exploration company, Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc.
Launched at the beginning of June by the Star Valley Rig 101 platform, this drilling mission seems to be bearing fruit. The results obtained so far are considered "encouraging" by the company’s executive chairman, Paul Griffiths, as quoted in a press release.
Two new potential gas reservoirs have been revealed thanks to the presence of overpressured gas at shallow depth. However, these preliminary results still require precise evaluations to determine their true productivity potential.
Six other targets are currently being evaluated in addition to the two areas already identified. An update on the progress of the work will be communicated once the logging operations are completed, it is specified.
