Morocco’s Atlas Lions Set for Crucial Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers

The Moroccan national football team is preparing to play two important matches as part of the qualifying rounds for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Thus, the Atlas Lions will face the Central African Republic on October 12 and 15. These matches, counting for the third and fourth rounds of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) in Morocco, will take place at the sports complex in the city of Oujda.
The Atlas Lions, currently leading Group B with a record of two wins, will approach these confrontations with the ambition of consolidating their position. The players of Walid Regragui had respectively dominated Gabon (4-1) and Lesotho (1-0) in the first two rounds.
For its part, the Central African Republic will try to take advantage of these two matches to relaunch itself in the competition. The Fauves of Bas-Oubangui, currently second in the group, have as many points as Gabon thanks to a win and a loss.
The Moroccan team had to leave the Agadir Stadium, where it was used to playing, for the Oujda stadium. It will also have to deal with many absences, including Brahim Diaz, and uncertainties about the strategy to adopt.
