Moroccan national team: changes expected for the next matches

The coach of the Moroccan national football team, Walid Regragui, is about to unveil the list of players selected for the next matches of the Atlas Lions. Many changes are expected.
Morocco will face Gabon and Lesotho on November 15 and 18, for the fifth and sixth rounds of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco.
Changes are expected compared to the list of players who played the matches against the Central African Republic in October. Indeed, Amine Adli, the striker of Bayer Leverkusen, will be absent due to injury. Victim of a leg fracture, he was operated on and will not return to the field until January 2025. Youssef Belammari, a player from Raja Club Athletic, will also be missing. He is suffering from a double fracture and will have to observe a four-week rest period.
However, Regragui will be able to count on the return of several key players. Noussair Mazraoui, Yahya Attiat-Allah, Brahim Diaz and Amir Richardson should join the national team. Mazraoui, who plays for Manchester United, is going through an excellent period. He was notably elected best player of the match during his team’s last match against Chelsea (1-1) on November 3.
