Morocco’s National Soccer Team Ranks 22nd Globally in Player Value, 4th in Africa

The Transfermarkt website has just published its global ranking of the most expensive national teams. The Moroccan national football team is in 4th place in Africa and is ranked 22nd worldwide.
TransferMarkt has placed Morocco in the top 25 most expensive nations in the world. In this ranking of 100 teams, England is in first place and Cape Verde is in last place. Morocco’s positioning is due to certain players such as Achraf Hakimi, whose market value is estimated at 70 million euros.
The total estimated value of the Moroccan squad is 229 million euros with big names like Youssef En-Nesyri (48 million euros), Yassine Bounou (18 million euros), and many others. Morocco could have found itself in an even better position if the ranking had taken into account Hakim Ziyech and Noussair Mazraoui.
It should be remembered that player prices, partly indexed to performance, depend on several other criteria: position, age, contractual situation, image...
