PSG expects from the full-back who now wears the number 2 that belonged to Thiago Silva, even more enthusiasm and know-how. With Inter, Achraf had a breathtaking season crowned with an Italian championship title. "I feel a lot of pride today," said Achraf Hakimi after signing his contract. After my experiences in Spain, Germany and Italy, Paris Saint-Germain offers me the opportunity to discover a new championship under the colors of one of the most prestigious clubs in the world."
Achraf Hakimi is well aware of the role that is his in this new adventure and intends to give his all as he knows how to do. In a message on the club’s official website, the PSG management also expressed their joy at having a player with such great potential within the team. "We are happy to welcome Achraf Hakimi to Paris today. The signing of a player of this stature shows the level of our ambitions. We continue to build something very special," said Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, President of Paris Saint-Germain.
He knows that PSG has made one of the biggest moves of this summer transfer window, given the reputation of the Moroccan player. "Achraf is only 22 years old, but he has already established himself as one of the best full-backs in world football, and that is the standard we set ourselves at the club. I know Achraf will have a fantastic career with us and the whole club wishes him great success in our colors."
