PSG’s Achraf Hakimi Hailed as ’Ideal Recruit’ by Former Morocco Coach

The transfer of Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi to PSG continues to make headlines. The latest reaction is that of the former coach of the Atlas Lions, Hervé Renard. The French technician believes that the Moroccan player is part of the world’s top 3 in his position.
It was at the beginning of last week that the Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi finalized his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. He does not need to find his bearings, he is already unanimous within the Parisian club. His former coach, Hervé Renard, even thinks that he is the ideal recruit for PSG. "He has demonstrated his ability to adapt first to Dortmund, at only 19 years old, by becoming a regular starter as a right or left back," reports Le Parisien.
Hervé Renard highlighted the impressive career of the Moroccan player at such a young age. "At 22, he has already played in Spain at Real Madrid, then he established himself in Germany and Italy and now he is arriving in France."
For him, Achraf Hakimi is a player apart, one of the greatest of his time. "He has nothing to envy anyone, even if he does not yet have the experience of a César Azpilicueta, the Chelsea defender. A player like Kyle Walker is also very strong defensively, but Achraf has different qualities."
Hervé Renard insists that the Moroccan player is a piece that any club would want to have, in the sense that he is young and full of talent. At 22, he has already accomplished what many have not been able to achieve in a career. "For me, he is part of the world’s top 3. He had another very good season with Inter with very good statistics. He is impressive. Paris did not spend 60 million euros for nothing," said the former coach of the Moroccan national team.
