Morocco Names 24-Man Squad for CHAN Qualifier Against Algeria

The local players of the national team who will face Algeria on September 21 in the qualifiers for the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) are now known.

The coach of the national team of local players, Houcine Ammouta, has called up 24 players for this edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN). From this list, the former coach of Wydad de Casablanca has decided to opt for 8 players from the red team and 6 from Raja de Casablanca.

A few days earlier, Ammouta’s protégés had held their Nigerien counterparts to a 2-0 draw at the annex pitch of the Grand Stadium in Marrakech in the first friendly match, before beating Burkina Faso 1-0.

The first match for this national team is scheduled for September 21 in the first leg in Blida, pending the second leg in Morocco on August 18.
