Morocco-Algeria CHAN Qualifier Rescheduled, Venue Changed to Berkane

The Morocco-Algeria match counting for the qualifiers of the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) football and which was to take place in Berkane, will not take place on October 18 as planned.
The match was initially scheduled for October 18 at the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat, but work is being carried out there to host the Throne Cup final on November 18.
Thus, according to Le360, it is the Berkane Municipal Stadium that has been chosen to host the match on Saturday, October 19, and not the day before.
In case of qualification, Houcine Ammouta’s men will pocket a bonus of 120,000 dirhams each, since in the first leg on September 21 in Blida, the two teams had parted with a 0-0 draw.
For this match, the former Wydad coach will be able to benefit from the return to form of many players, such as Salaheddine Saidi, Ayoub El Kaabi and Abdelkarim Baadi, who were previously injured, the site specifies.
