Morocco-Togo Friendly Match Canceled Ahead of CHAN 2020 Preparations

The national local selection will no longer face its Togolese counterpart on November 15 in a friendly match for scheduling reasons.
The friendly match between the two local teams will no longer take place. This match, which was to serve as preparation for the two teams for the CHAN 2020, is canceled due to non-compliance with the schedule.
Scheduled for November 15, this match was to take place one day before the Cape Verde-Togo match, scheduled as part of the CAN 2021 qualifying days.
According to Le360, the A and local national teams are supervised by the same technician. Claude Leroy would certainly have wished not to be on several fronts at the same time to better ensure his coaching.
Togo qualified for the CHAN by eliminating Benin (0-0, 0-1) then Nigeria, the 2018 edition finalist, (4-1, 0-2). Morocco, the defending champion, eliminated Algeria (0-0, 0-3), recalls the same source.
Note that the second friendly match of Houcine Ammouta’s men, scheduled for November 19 against Guinea, is maintained.
