Morocco Edges Guinea 1-0 in CHAN Warm-Up Match

The Moroccan national team of local football players faced their Guinean counterpart on Tuesday in a friendly match that ended in a victory for the Moroccans. The match took place at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan stadium in Rabat.
Guinea lost to Morocco with a score of one goal to zero. The only goal of the match was scored by Ayoub El Kaabi in the 6th minute of play. Last Friday, the two teams had faced each other in a first friendly match won by Morocco 2 goals to 1.
For the past few days, Lhoucine Ammouta’s men have started preparations in order to be more competitive for the final phase of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) of local players, which will be held from January 16 to February 7 in Cameroon. Morocco is in group C, with Rwanda, Uganda and Togo.
