Morocco to Name New National Soccer Coach in Early August

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) plans to announce the name of the successor to French coach Hervé Renard at the beginning of August 2019. This decision was made during the meeting of July 25, coupled with the tribute ceremony for the former national coach.
The new coach of the A national team and his Technical Director (DTN) will be known at the beginning of August. This choice will come at the end of the work of the two commissions responsible for the appointment of these two personalities. Their verdict will definitively turn the "Renard" page.
As for the former national coach, he was celebrated by the FRMF, which wanted to pay tribute to him before his departure for Saudi Arabia, his next destination. This tribute ceremony was full of emotion. Hervé Renard praised the professional climate that prevailed throughout his mission at the head of the national team. The new coach of the Saudi Arabian national team noted that Morocco will remain engraved in his memory for a long time, due to the achievements made with the national team.
Following him, the President of the FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaâ, thanked the now former coach of Morocco "for the work accomplished" with the A national team. The presentation of a souvenir gift from the FRMF to the French technician marked the end of the tribute ceremony.
