Morocco Players Praise Departing Coach Hervé Renard’s Impact on National Team

After his teammates, Benatia and Feddal, Younès Belhanda reacted on his Instagram account to celebrate his former coach. They all agree that the former French coach, Hervé Renard, has positively marked Moroccan football.
Opinions are not shared on the departure of the former coach of the "Atlas Lions". For some, it is a relief, but in the ranks of his protégés, it is quite the opposite. They shower him with laurels and pay tribute to him for the special touch he brought to Moroccan football.
Just like his teammates, Younès Belhanda, the Franco-Moroccan and midfielder of "Galatasaray", praised the qualities of the "white wizard" and his remarkable work at the head of the selection for three years: "Infinite thanks to Hervé Renard who has done precious work within the national football. A sincere and rigorous man who has managed to restore the image of the Moroccan national team. He has achieved several feats, including leading us to the World Cup, a dream for all Moroccans. Thank you for making us vibrate. Forever in our hearts!", he posted on his Instagram account.
Before his departure, Hervé Renard moved the web on Sunday, July 21, with a message in which he recalled his love for Morocco and thanked King Mohammed VI, at the same time, for his many efforts in the service of the development of football and sport.
The steps are underway to replace Renard. Fouzi Lakjaâ, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), announced the setting up, next week, of a Commission responsible for evaluating the CVs of the candidate technicians, in order to select Renard’s successor.
