Morocco’s Mazraoui Exits World Cup Opener with Hip Injury, Awaits MRI

Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui was substituted due to injury during Morocco’s first match at the 2022 Qatar World Cup against Croatia, which ended in a goalless draw (0-0).
Noussair Mazraoui was injured in the 59th minute of the match between Morocco and Croatia (0-0) and had to leave the pitch, replaced by Yahya Attiat-Allah. The Moroccan right-back was holding his hip. He was injured in the hip and the doctors have already examined him without mentioning a possible seriousness of the injury of the Bayern Munich star. An MRI will provide the necessary details.
