Morocco Launches Online Vehicle Registration Fee Payment for Dealers

A new tele-service will soon be operational for the payment of registration fees. This initiative comes from the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) and will allow vehicle dealers to pay registration fees through an electronic process.
An end to hassles for vehicle dealers. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGI), aware of their difficulties in paying these fees, has decided to change the situation.
Thanks to the process of digitization and improvement of online tax services, "SIMPL", this tele-service is available through the link, https://simpl-timbre.tax.gov.ma/timbre/login, or via the DGI website. It is also available in the SIMPL/Registration and stamp space, the DGI said in a statement.
However, the institution has taken all measures to apprehend fraudsters. To this end, the payment certificates have a reference that allows to ensure their authenticity and the accuracy of the information they contain using the certificate verification service, available on the DGI portal (www.tax.gov.ma), the same source said.
