Morocco Launches Online Tax Payment System for Vehicle Dealers

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) has just announced the launch of a new online service, allowing vehicle dealers to pay the fixed fees of 300 DH online.
These fees are applied to the vehicle registration receipt issued after the expiration of the validity period of the temporary registration receipt.
According to a press release from the Directorate General of Taxes, this new electronic service is accessible through the SIMPL/Registration and stamp space. According to the same source, it is part of the continuation of its digitization strategy and the improvement of online services, "SIMPL".
As for the payment certificates, they contain a reference allowing to ensure their authenticity and the sincerity of the information contained therein using the service available on the DGI portal (www.tax.gov.ma).
