Architects Embrace Tax Amnesty Deal as DGI Expands Professional Outreach

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) has signed an agreement with the Order of Architects. In total, 1,400 professionals out of 3,500 have joined the tax amnesty.
This is the second professional organization with which the DGI has just entered into a partnership after the doctors. According to L’Économiste, the DGI intends to sign an agreement with professional organizations to allow for massive and more effective regularizations than case-by-case negotiations. The transporters would be the next professional organization with which it will sign a convention.
Thus, taxpayers can benefit from the automatic cancellation of penalties and the exemption from tax audits for taxes and fiscal years that have been the subject of a corrective declaration. "The convention sets, on the basis of the information elements held by the tax administration, the amount of tax to be paid."
Taxpayers who are members of a professional organization that has signed a convention with the Directorate General of Taxes are also offered the possibility of opting for one of the regularization formulas provided for in Article 247-XVIII of the General Tax Code.
